This is the story of a man faced with a burning question - should he cure his pain or not? Matt has suffered with a condition called Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) since he was a teenager. Thirty years on, he wrestles with the effect the pain has on his physical and emotional wellbeing, and reflects on how his pain has shaped who he is as a person.
This was the first film made during my master's degree in Ethnographic and Documentary Film at UCL.
